International students who plan to obtain an F-1 visa and whose native language is not English must submit a satisfactory Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score to be admitted to an associate degree program at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC).
If you need to fulfill this requirement, we recommend that you take the TOEFL test as soon as possible, as this requirement takes some time to complete. You must ask to have your official score report sent directly to AACC using code 5019.
A student with a minimum score of 550 (paper-based test), 213 (computer-based test) or 79 (internet-based test) may be admitted to a college degree program. Students with a score of 450 (paper-based), 133 (computer-based), 46 (internet-based) may be admitted to the English as a Second Language (ESL) program.
Visit the TOEFL website for information about test dates, locations and registration.
Note: Students interested in the Health Sciences programs at AACC must consult with the School of Health Sciences for TOEFL requirements.
