Research Day
Students, staff and the AACC community are invited to attend the second annual Research Day. Featuring student presentations of their AACC research, a panel of student researchers, a special guest speaker and culminating in a celebration of the release of the latest volume of the AACC research journal.
Join us for an exciting showcase and recognition of all that the student research community has been engaged with at AACC in the past year. Learn about new opportunities to get involved in research, whether as a student, faculty member or community partner. The event is free, and food will be provided!
Schedule:
10:30-11:15 a.m.
Keynote Guest Speaker
Hear from a local graduate student on how they made their break into research, and where the field stands today.
11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Research Fair
Featuring a student poster showcase, campus clubs, programs, organizations and tables from community and business partners.
12:30-1:30 p.m.
Student Research Panel
AACC student researchers share their experiences participating in various research activities across campus.
1:45-3 p.m.
Journal Release Party
Cap off the day with a celebration of the release of the fourth volume of the AACC Journal of Emerging Scholarship. Copies of the latest journal will be available.
The event is catered with a lunch assortment followed by desserts.
