Harry Smith took a poetry class through a lifelong learning program at Salisbury University. Among the reflections, his old AACC professor came to mind. Though the two had not been in contact for more than 50 years, the impact was enough that Smith felt compelled to reach out to let Atwell know what his guidance had meant.
