DHY-106 Dental Anat & Tooth Morph

Examine the anatomy of human dentition and the surrounding structures of the head and neck. Describe the anatomy and physiology of various tissue structures, such as muscles, nerves, bones, and blood vessels of the head and neck, and their biological relationship to the oral cavity and the entire body. Explore the oral cavity and the surrounding structures and discuss tooth morphology and the applications of tooth anatomy in dentistry. Lab Fee $2,500. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Dental Hygiene Program. Corequisite: DHY 100, DHY 102, DHY 104, DHY 108.
