Gain an introductory background to the concepts that embody global health. Learn the principles and goals of global health, apply knowledge of health determinants and epidemiologic trends, discuss the impact of economics while exploring ethical issues related to human rights and barriers to health. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101/101A. Prerequisite or Corequisite: MAT 135 or MAT 135H.
