ART-220 History of Modern Art

Introduces the development of Western art since 1800. Although emphasizing architecture, painting and sculpture, devotes some time to the development of photography and industrial and urban design. Supplement discussions of slides with trips to museums in the Baltimore-Washington area. No previous art courses are necessary. Lab fee $8.
