Build vocabulary and grammar skills for the purpose of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Discuss aspects of French culture. Prerequisite: FRE 112 or two years of high school French or permission of department chair. Note: Not for native speakers. Also offered as FRE 211H; credit is not given for both FRE 211 and FRE 211H.
