UAS-111 Intro to Drone Technology

Learn information technology concepts and skills that are fundamental to social, personal, business, and academic environments through the study of Drone Technology. Learn about the command and control networks, hardware, software, security, privacy, ethics, and emerging technologies as they apply to the workforce demands for small uncrewed aircraft systems (sUAS). Learn basic drone flying skills, the rules for recreational drone flying and the required knowledge to become a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot. Lab fee $20. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101/ENG 101A.
