Learn techniques of advanced legal research and writing with an emphasis on the written aspect of the role of a paralegal. Prepare several written products including case briefs, correspondence, objective memoranda, persuasive memoranda, federal and state court complaints, discovery documents, and motions, including emphasis on detailed legal citation, issue identification and the FIRAC method. Learn and practice oral communication techniques. Lab fee $47. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in LGS 141 and LGS 143.
