Explore the Ridgely and Hancock families farms, their architectural styles, and their owners contributions to Marylands economy, arts, and politics. Develop skills to evaluate historic properties, understand agricultural structures, and become familiar with historic preservation. Compare and contrast these 18th-century farms features during on-site visits. Evening lecture, next-day tour of the $99 includes $40 fee. Note: Transportation provided. Extensive walking and standing required without assistance. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for outdoors. Bring a bag for lunch or purchase one on your own.
