Learn the basics of pneumatic, electro pneumatic and hydraulic control circuits in a complex mechatronic system. Master the functions and properties of control elements based upon physical principles, and the roles they play within the system. Use and interpret technical documentation and perform measurements on the pneumatic and hydraulic control circuits. Apply troubleshooting strategies to identify, localize and correct malfunctions and practice preventive maintenance and safety. Lab fee $30. Prerequisite: EET 130 or permission of department chair.
