SCI-202 Research Communication

Explore the process of communicating research results to a range of audiences, focusing on scientific journal articles and oral or poster presentations at scientific conferences. Critique existing articles and presentations to refine your own list of best practices for research communication. Examine research results to write, edit, and submit for publication a scientific journal article and become a published author. Design a research presentation to present during the course or at a regional conference in your field. Prerequisite: SCI 201 or permission of department. Note: Also offered as SCI 202H; credit is not given for both SCI 202 and SCI 202H.
