ENG-211 World Literature 1

Explore great works of literature from the earliest written records through the 17th century. Read selections from ancient Mesopotamian, Biblical, Islamic, Asian, classical Greek and Roman and medieval and renaissance European literature. Prerequisite: ENG 101/ENG 101A or permission of department. Note: Also offered as ENG 211H; credit is not given for both ENG 211 and ENG 211H.
