Paul Gabriel-Tucci is a dedicated faculty member in the English Department at AACC, where he has been inspiring students for 32 years. He teaches Academic Writing & Research 1 (ENG-101), Academic Writing & Research 2 (ENG-102) and Writing for Professionals (ENG-207). Committed to the college’s equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives, he ensures that all his students feel welcome and supported in his courses. He believes in mutual effort, expecting students to prioritize their classwork while he provides the guidance they need to succeed.
Passionate about true stories, Gabriel-Tucci incorporates compelling nonfiction into his curriculum. In Academic Writing & Research 1 (ENG-101), he focuses on "The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass," while Academic Writing & Research 2 (ENG-102) includes the profound account of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. He believes these works are essential reading for every educated American.
What he enjoys most about teaching at AACC is introducing students to quality literature and witnessing their improvement in writing skills. His dedication to fostering a love for reading and writing in his students makes him a cherished member of the AACC faculty.
