Community members have trusted AACC with their hopes and dreams since 1961, and donors are placing their trust in the AACC Foundation to help current and future students achieve their academic and career goals.
In recent years, new scholarship offerings have been expanded to address the critical workforce shortage and support students facing rising living costs. One such initiative – the Future Nursing Professionals Scholarship Community Challenge – is helping meet the urgent demand for nurses in our region.
As the largest provider of nurses for local hospitals, AACC is committed to removing financial barriers to help community members pursue their dreams of becoming a registered nurse. To support this mission, the AACC Foundation has launched an ambitious goal of raising $4.5 million by 2028. Donor-funded scholarships are vital for this initiative.

AACC Foundation Board President Dan Mathias recently said, “When you support this scholarship, your donation will change a life and possibly save a life.” Every dollar raised directly supports registered nursing students at AACC.
