Representatives from more than 125 colleges and universities will be on hand at AACC’s next College Fair. The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in Jenkins Gymnasium at Anne Arundel Community College, Arnold.
Representatives from the University of Maryland, College Park, the United States Naval Academy and Johns Hopkins University to Elon University, University of Alabama and Vanderbilt University, among others, will be on hand with college catalogs, brochures and answers to questions about admission requirements, financial aid, campus life, upcoming tours and more.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is recommended, but not mandatory. Signup is still available for 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m. tours of AACC’s Clauson Center for Innovation and Skilled Trades, which provides hands-on learning for a variety of skilled trade programs including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, welding, forklift operation, general contracting and more.
Admissions officers from AACC will also be available to discuss the Early College Access Program (ECAP), where county high school students can earn college credit and the tuition, fees and course materials are free for those who are eligible.
