Anne Arundel Community College is committed to maintaining an environment in which college interests, assets, students, and the workforce are safe, secure, and productive.
As a condition of employment/service, all prospective and current employees and college volunteers shall be subject to a background investigation, including, but not limited to, verification of credentials, employment references, criminal history, and driving records, as appropriate. Information resulting from the investigation will be used by the college to make informed employment/service decisions.
The Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the president, or her/his designee, to develop and establish appropriate procedures to implement and enforce this policy.
