Anne Arundel Community College's continuing education human resource training course is taught by highly credentialed, experienced instructors. We are partnered with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) to offer this nationally recognized program that demonstrates to employers that you've acquired a valuable body of knowledge. The training consists of one course which typically runs in the winter and fall semester:
HRS-512 SHRM Certified Professional Exam Preparation
Total Hours: 39
The program costs $1,281 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees.
You can prepare for the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation by taking continuing education coursework at AACC. AACC offers both classroom and online courses. Learn more about the benefits of SHRM Certification.
Upon successful completion, students also earn an AACC continuing education certificate: Professional Human Resource Management (CE.PROF-HR-MGMT).

Students taking noncredit classes don't need to apply for admission to AACC. Just check out our course search, choose a program or course that interests you, register and make your payment. Registration for summer courses is open. Registration for fall 2026 opens July 14! Please check course availability prior to registration.
If you have previously taken classes at AACC, you must log in using your AACC account. New students will be able to create a temporary account in the checkout process.
