Our plumbing programs provide you with an in-depth background of the plumbing industry. By combining classroom instruction with hands-on training, you will develop the skills needed for design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting plumbing systems for residential and commercial applications.
The Pre-apprenticeship Plumbing program is designed to prepare you to enter and succeed in a registered Plumbing Apprenticeship program. You will learn from an industry professional while participating in classroom and online instruction with hands-on lab training at AACC’s Clauson Center for Innovation and Trades. Along with gaining valuable industry knowledge, you will also obtain OSHA and CPR/First Aid certifications while preparing for entry into a registered apprenticeship program.

The program costs $3,256 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees.
Plumbing Apprenticeship is a four-year program that will take you from the basics to being prepared to take the journeyman's test. Our training opportunities allow you to enter formal apprenticeship training, combining on-the-job training with time in school. Programs are available through our partner, Associated Builders and Contractors of the Chesapeake.
