GenCyber Summer Day Camp for Teens

Learn about safe online behavior, ethics and cybersecurity from experienced instructors. Topics will include coding a webpage, building a mobile application, programming small robots and electronic devices, protecting and hiding information, password security, 3D printing, and digital geotagging of images. Participate in collaborative projects and learn how to solve problems, evaluate evidence, analyze arguments and generate hypotheses. The program is open to students 12 to 14 years old who have completed grades 6 or 7 (rising 7th and 8th graders).

Camp will be in session from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. June 23 to 26. This camp is fully funded by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation and is provided at no charge to selected applicants. Applications will be accepted from March 1 through April 30. Accepted participants will be notified by May 15.
