In response to the closing of Stratford University, Anne Arundel Community College has established dedicated resources for students who wish to transfer. After completing an application, our staff are available to create individual academic plans and discuss transfer credits, programs of study and financial aid options.
AACC has set up a dedicated email address for affected students: AACC4STRATFORD@aacc.edu.
“I want to let former Stratford University students, especially Anne Arundel County residents, know that we are here for them,” said Dr. Dawn Lindsay, AACC’s president. “I hope they will visit during our open house to learn more about the degree and workforce certificates that we offer.”
AACC offers several programs that relate to Stratford University offerings, including Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, Health and Human Services, Technology and Business. AACC’s two-year degree programs can transfer to four-year degree programs at colleges throughout Maryland as well as out of state. In addition, AACC offers industry-certified credentials and workforce training programs that can be applied on the job for current working professionals.
The thought of starting at a new school may be financially daunting. In addition to low tuition, applicants also may benefit from AACC’s 200 scholarships and the Maryland Community College Promise program. More information about financial aid is available on our website or by emailing finaid@aacc.edu.
