The AACC Rainbow Network (ARN) is a community of administrators, faculty and staff who advocate actively for LGBTQ+ equity and oppose homophobia on campus. All members of the network complete a training session. The ARN training sessions help members learn about LGBTQ+ identity, homophobia and heterosexism. It provides strategies for supporting LGBTQ+ members of the campus community and for connecting with others who are committed to this cause. Upon completing the session, members receive an AACC Rainbow Network door sign that lets students and other members of the AACC community know that their office is a safe place for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Members also receive a packet of LGBTQ+ resources and other information.
Want to help make a change or offer support to an LGBTQ+ student? Then join the Rainbow Network. You will receive training and resources.

Take classes that examine the role gender and sexuality have in the way we see ourselves, others and the world around us.
Get inspired! Watch videos featuring students, staff and faculty.
We are looking for others who are willing to share how it gets better at AACC. Contact the ARN Coordinator at hrellihan@aacc.edu for information.
