Need Free Legal Help?

legal studies students in library

We can help you:

  • Family law matters (divorce, custody, visitation, child support, adoption, paternity and guardianship)
  • Small and large claims
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Expungement and shielding of records
  • Consumer matters (car repossessions, debt collection and credit card cases)
  • Domestic violence/peace orders
  • Foreclosure
  • Estates and trusts
  • And more

The clinic is not income- or resident-based and is open to all.

What to Expect

Your legal questions are answered by state-licensed volunteer attorneys assisted by volunteer AACC legal studies students. During your appointment, volunteers can explain to you what could happen in court, outline processes, identify specific paperwork that may need filing and more. This is a limited legal advice service, not a substitute for representation, and does not constitute an attorney/client relationship.
